Amitabh Bachchan meets youngest kids to climb Mount Everest

Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan met with a group of students from The Lawrence School (Sanawar).

Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan met with a group of students from The Lawrence School (Sanawar) for being the youngest people to climb Mount Everest on last Sunday.

Big B,who meets with his fans every Sunday,also met with this group of seven students.

Amitabh Bachchan also gave them personally autographed copies of his book To Be Or Not To Be during their visit last Sunday. He also felicitated and congratulated the students.

Big B wrote on his blog about it: “….. these fantastic team of young students from the Lawrence School,Senawar on the hills of Simla,who … hold your breathe … have all climbed Mt Everest … and the youngest of them is a record holder .. Raghav,second from left is only 15 and a few months .. just so incredible !!”

Lawrence School,Sherwood and a few other Schools established during the British Raj,in the mid 1800’s as Army Schools,still continue the code of the army in their curriculum. Big B personally congratulated the principal of the school for the success.

Producer Bunty Walia and director Apoorva Lakhia,who are the alumni of the Lawrence School,Sanawar also tweeted about the students’ achievement.

Students Fateh Singh Brar,Prithvi Singh Chahel,Ajay Sohal,Haqiqat Singh Garewal,Shubham Kaushik,Raghav Juneja and Gori Badet Singh are the youngest kids in the world to climb Mount Everest. It took them 60 days to reach the point.
