Actor Alia Bhatt is currently juggling multiple roles. Besides sustaining a solid acting career and spending quality time with her family, including her daughter Raha and husband Ranbir Kapoor, she has marked her presence as a strong film producer and is successfully managing her clothing brand Ed-a-Mamma. Although she’s currently busy promoting her upcoming film Jigra, which she co-produced too, Alia always makes time to return to her daughter and recently, she and Ranbir introduced their little one to songs from their movies.

During a press meet on Monday, Alia was asked which of her songs she would like her daughter to see first. In response, the National Award-winning thespian said, “Just yesterday, she saw the first song that I ever shot in my life, ‘Radha Teri Chunri’ from Student of the Year (2012).” Directed by Karan Johar, Student of the Year marked the debut of Sidharth Malhotra and Varun Dhawan too besides Alia.

“We have started showing her songs slowly since she is almost two years old now. The first song that she ever saw, however, was ‘Kesariya’ from Brahmāstra: Part One – Shiva (2022). But yesterday, she saw ‘Radha Teri Chunri’ and ‘Badtameez Dil’ from Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani (2013) back to back. She must be thinking, this (dancing around to songs) is normal,” Alia added, cracking up the audience.

While director Ayan Mukerji’s fantasy action-adventure Brahmastra was the first movie in which Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor shared the screen, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, helmed by Ayan himself, was one of the biggest hits of Ranbir’s career.

Directed by Vasan Bala and produced jointly by Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Alia Bhatt, Shaheen Bhatt and Soumen Mishra under the banners of Dharma Productions and Eternal Sunshine Productions, Jigra also stars Vedang Raina, Aditya Nanda, Sobhita Dhulipala and Manoj Pahwa in key roles. The movie will hit theaters on October 11.
