Putting all speculations to rest, producers, Kriarj Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. and Essel Vision Productions have fused their strength to produce a romantic feature film ‘Namaste England’, which is to be directed by Vipul Amrutlal Shah. The film will not be a sequel to ‘Namastey London’.

The producers are currently in negotiations with Akshay Kumar to play lead role in the film.

“I am very excited to direct this film and with the prospect of working with Akshay once again. We have had the best run in the past and I hope to continue that with this one. I have been reading reports about this being a sequel to Namaste London… I would like to make it absolutely clear that Namaste England is not a sequel of Namaste London. In fact this has nothing to do with Namaste London. I hope this puts all the speculations to rest. My producers have shown faith in my vision and I want to do justice to their faith,” Vipul Shah said.
