Akshay Kumar sells two flats in Mumbai for Rs 6.6 crore, makes a profit of over Rs 3 crore

Akshay Kumar sold two of his flats in Oberoi Sky City after buying them for about Rs 3.5 crore back in 2017.

Akshay Kumar recently sold two of his residential units in Oberoi Sky City, Mumbai, according to property reviewed by Square Yards. The said properties were sold for Rs 6.6 crore with both the transaction being registered in March 2025.

As per IGR property registration documents reviewed by Square Yards, Akshay Kumar sold one of the properties for Rs 5.35 crore, which he originally purchased in November 2017 for Rs 2.82 crore. The apartment in question has a carpet area of 1080 sq.ft. It incurred a stamp duty of Rs 32.1 lakh, along with a registration fee of Rs 30,000.

The second property sold is relatively small with a carpet area of just 252 sq.ft. The said property is sold for Rs 1.25 crore, after buying it for Rs 67.19 lakh in 2017. Akshay made a profit of 86%. The transaction had incurred a stamp duty of Rs 7.5 lakh, with a registration fee of Rs 30,000. The property is located in Sky City, developed by Oberoi Realty and spread across 25 acres.

Just last year, Bollywood’s father-son duo Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan acquired multiple properties in Oberoi Sky City in May.

Akshay Kumar owns several other properties across India. According to NoBrokerHood, apart from thr duplex apartment in Juhu, Akshay and his wife Twinkle Khanna also own a couple of flats in Andheri’s Transcon Triump Tower, a villa in Goa, a beach-view bungalow in Mauritius and a hill in Canada’s Toronto.

On the work front, the actor recently released the trailer for his upcoming film Kesari 2. He will also be seen in Kannappa, Housefull 5, Jolly LLB 3, Bhooth Bangla, Welcome to the Jungle, and Hera Pheri 3, among others.
