Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan has opened up about how wife-actor Aishwarya Rai Bachchan seamlessly eased their daughter Aaradhya Bachchan into the world of films as both him and Aishwarya, and his parents are a part of the movie business. The actor heaped praise on Aishwarya for beautifully handling the situation without making it a big deal for their daughter. Abhishek also spoke about how he is not comfortable with people speaking about his daughter on social media.
In an interview with ETimes, Abhishek said that since Aardhya’s grandparents–Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan are also from the film industry, they tried to make things very normal for her. He said, “Thankfully, her mother has seamlessly eased her into this world. We didn’t make it into a ‘big thing’. It was very normal.” He gave the entire credit to Aishwarya and said, “She allows me to go out and make my films and she takes care of Aaradhya.”
Abhishek said that Aaradhya does not ‘compulsively’ watch movies and added that she is happy doing her own things. He said, “At some level, I don’t want to ask her which is her favorite film of mine. I don’t think I want to because I’ll get a brutally honest answer and I don’t think I am ready for that.”
Talking about not being comfortable with people talking about Aaradhya on social media, Abhishek said, “My daughter is out of bonds. I do not allow you the liberty on my social media handles to discuss that. It’s something I’m not going to engage in and if I feel a boundary needs to be drawn, I will draw that.”
Recently, Aaradhya took legal action by approaching the Delhi High Court against a YouTube channel. The reason behind the petition was the channel’s dissemination of false news regarding her health and personal life. Aaradhya’s plea requests the removal and deactivation of all videos pertaining to her from ten different entities.
