Reena and Kiran looked in good spirits as they reached Nupur’s house in Bandra. Nupur and Ira will have a joint haldi ceremony at his house. Reena was seen entering his residential complex with ‘shagun’ (a gift) for the joyous occasion.

After their haldi ceremony, the couple will have their mehendi ceremony today. Aamir Khan’s brother Faisal Khan had recently spoken about Ira’s wedding and had said that he is happy that their families are getting together for the special day and enjoying the celebrations leading up to the wedding.

Before her haldi, Ira was seen visiting Aamir Khan’s home in Bandra and then the actor was seen leaving his residence for the ceremony at Nupur’s home. While others opted for traditional maharashtrian attire for the events, Ira and Aamir donned casuals.

Later in the evening, Aamir was spotted arriving for Ira’s mehendi ceremony with son Junaid Khan.

Talking to paparazzi stationed outside Ira’s house, Faisal said on Tuesday, “Aamir’s daughter Ira is getting married and functions have stared. The wedding is on January 3 and then there are some functions in Udaipur also, and then they’ll invite the full industry around 13th. I am very happy, it is a happy occasion.”

Ira and Nupur dated for a few years before getting engaged last year. Both their families attended their special day along with their friends, actors Fatima Sana Sheikh, Mithila Palkar and Ira’s cousins Zayn Marie Khan and Imran Khan. The couple will have a Maharashtrian style wedding tomorrow.
