Actor-director Farhan Akhtar has unveiled his first look for his next film 120 Bahadur. On the 62nd anniversary of the Battle of Rezang La, he paid a tribute to the 120 soldiers who made the sacrifice during the 1962 Indo-China war. Farhan, who is making a film about the Rezang La battle, will play the lead role of Major Shaitan Singh.

Taking to his Instagram account, he wrote along with the poster, “It’s been 62 years since 1962. Today, we honour the unparalleled courage and sacrifice of the heroes of Rezang La. 120 Bahadur is our tribute to the valour and the indomitable spirit of Major Shaitan Singh and his brave men, who stood their ground against insurmountable odds. Their story echoes through time, reminding us of the price of freedom and the strength of unity, with a special salute to the Ahir community, whose sons displayed unmatched bravery in defending our nation.”

In the first look, Farhan can be seen looking fierce in the uniform of an Indian Army soldier. He had blood-stained teeth, while aiming his gun at the enemy. The poster read, “Woh teen hazar the aur hum (They are three thousand and what about us)?”

Farhan announced 120 Bahadur back in September, when he had shared a few posters of the film along with a short note. The military action drama is set against the backdrop of the 1962 Indo-China war. The actor-producer will play the role of an army officer, Maj Shaitan Singh PVC. Directed by Razneesh Razy Ghai and produced by Excel Entertainment, 120 Bahadur will hit the theatres in 2025. In the past few years, Farhan has announced two other directorials – Jee La Zaraa and Don 3, but it looks like they will take a back seat once again.
