The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on August 27 announced the time table for the National Defence Academy (NDA) 2 and the Naval Academy examination (NA) II exams. Candidates who have registered for the exam can check and access the UPSC NDA 2 and NA 2 exam schedule at upsc.gov.in and upsconline.nic.in.
According to the UPSC schedule, the NDA 2 and NA 2 exam for 2025 will be held on Sunday, September 14, in two shifts. While the first shift is set for mathematics and will run from 10 am to 12:30 pm, the second shift will be held for the general ability test and will be conducted from 2 pm to 4:30 pm. The total marks for mathematics is 300 and it is 600 for the general ability test.
Candidates clearing the written exam will become eligible for the SSB Test/Interview. The SSB or the interview will be held for 900 marks.
– The question papers will consist of objective-type questions only.
– The question papers will be bilingual (Hindi and English).
– Questions involving the metric system of weights and measures will be set.
– No candidate will be allowed to take the help of a scribe to write answers for them.
– Using calculator, mathematical or a log table will not be allowed while taking the exam.
The UPSC NDA and NA 2 exam 2025 is being conducted for 406 vacancies at the National Defence Academy and the Naval Academy. Students clearing the exam will be enrolled for admission to the Indian Military Academy, Dehradun, the Air Force Academy, Hyderabad, the Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, the Officers Training Academy, Chennai, or the National Defence Academy II courses.
The admit card will be issued seven days before the exam at upsconline.nic.in. Candidates can download it using their application ID and date of birth. UPSC has advised candidates to carefully check their admit card and immediately report any discrepancies.
If a candidate does not receive the admit card or communication regarding his/her candidature, s/he should contact the commission either in person or through its helpdesk number 011-24041001.
“No candidate will ordinarily be allowed to take the examination unless he/she holds a e-Admit Card for the examination. On receipt of e-Admit Card, check it carefully and bring discrepancies/errors, if any, to the notice of the UPSC immediately. The courses to which the candidates are admitted will be according to their eligibility as per educational qualifications for different courses and the preferences given by the candidates,” UPSC said.
