
UPMSP UP Board 10th Result 2023 Updates: The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Parishad (UPMSP), Prayagraj today released the Class 10 results for the Uttar Pradesh board students. UP high school students can check their scores at the official websites of the board — upmsp.edu.in and upresults.nic.in.
The board recorded an overall pass percentage of 89.78 per cent. Girls fared better than boys by recording a pass percentage of 93.34 per cent. Priyanshi Soni of Sita Bal Vidya Mandir Inter College, Sitapur topped the exam by scoring 590 marks out of 600.
This year, a total of 58,85,745 candidates registered for the UP Board examinations of which 31,16,487 are Class 10 students and 27,69,258 are Class 12 students. To check UPMSP High School and Inter results, a candidate has to keep their roll card handy.
As per reports, this year nearly 4.31 lakh students including 2,08,953 class 10 students and 2,22,618 class 12 students, did not appear for their UP Board exam. The UP Board results, pass percentage, the toppers name, compartment exam schedule and rechecking procedure are likely to be announced today by the UPMSP officials.
The pass percentage of girls was 6.3 per cent higher than the pass percentage of boys. The overall pass percentage for Class 10 is 89.78 per cent, boys secured a pass percentage of 86 per cent, while girls secured a pass percentage of 93 per cent.
Out of 25,70,987 students who appeared for the exam, 13,18,210 were boys and 12,52,777 were girls
A total of 31,06,157 students registered for the exam, out of which 28,63,621 appeared for the exam. The overall pass percentage of regular students was 89.85 per cent and for students who appeared privately was 66.47 per cent

UP CM, Yogi Adityanath, took to Twitter to congratulate the Class 10 and 12 students who received their UPMSP score cards today.
This year's UP Board Class 12 pass percentage of 75.52% is lower than the overall pass percentage of 2022 when 85.33 per cent students had passed the exam.
In class 10, the number of registered students was 31.16 lakh out of which 28.63 lakh students appeared for the class 10 examination. As compared to last year’s results, the passing percentage for class 10 has gone up from 88.18 per cent to 89.78 per cent,

Girls continue to perform better yet again in UP board class 10 result. Girls recorded a pass percentage of 93.34 per cent while boys secured 86.64 passing percentage.

Candidates who fail in more than two subjects will be considered fail in UP Board 10th exams. Rest have the option to sit for the compartment exam. These students who might get low marks in the UP Board inter exam can apply for the supplementary exam after the declaration of the results.
This year, the state Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath ordered the board to appoint Static Magistrates and Sector Magistrates who were asked to report daily proceedings to the District Inspector of Schools along with the District Magistrate. Additionally, a separate room was also made apart from the Principal’s room for strict monitoring of the exam papers.
The UP Board exams for Classes 1 to 8 were conducted between March 20 and 24 and the result was declared on March 31. Students of all council schools and recognised schools run under the Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Council were promoted and given admission to the next class as per the rules. This order is in accordance with the same RTE Act.

To pass the UP board 10th board exams, students have to score at least 33 per cent marks in each subject. those who fail to score the minimum required marks in exams will be declared fail in UP board 10th results 2023.
