To pass the TS Inter Supplementary 2025 exam, TSBIE IPE students will be required to score a minimum of 35 per cent marks or above in each subject. In aggregate, out of the total 1,000 marks, 350 are required to be considered passed. However, for visually, hearing-impaired candidates, the passing mark is 25 per cent.

For the Second Year, a total of 76,260 candidates passed the exam — comprising 68,665 from the General stream and 7,595 from the Vocational stream. Among these, 76,223 students were declared as Compartmentally Passed, which includes 68,628 General and 7,595 Vocational candidates.

The overall pass percentage for the Second Year is 51.7%, with General stream at 50.82% and Vocational stream at 61.2%. As seen in the First Year results, girls continued to perform better, registering a pass percentage of 54.89% (54.47% in General and 62.59% in Vocational). The boys’ pass percentage was lower at 49.8% (48.54% in General and 60.78% in Vocational).

Several schools in Kerala, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu are closed today due to incessant rainfall in the states. The Inter supply exams were conducted in two shifts — 1st year in the morning (9 AM to 12 Noon) and 2nd year in the afternoon (2:30 pm to 5:30 pm).

Of the total 4,39,302 students appearing in TS inter first year exams, as many as 2,93,852 passed, taking the pass percentage to 66.89 per cent in the general stream. In TS inter second year, as many as 3,99,943 students appeared and 2,85,435 students passed. The pass percentage in TS inter 2nd year general stream was 71.37 per cent.

In the second year, a total of 5,08,582 students appeared for the IPE March exam (including both general and vocational streams). Out of these, 3,33,908 students passed, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 65.65%. Girls outperformed boys in the second year as well. Out of 2,51,173 girls who appeared for the second-year exam, 1,86,385 passed, resulting in a pass percentage of 74.21%. In contrast, 2,57,409 boys took the exam, of whom 1,47,523 passed, marking a pass percentage of 57.31%.

The TS Intermediate Public Exams this year were held from March 6 to March 25. The first-year exams started on March 5, whereas the second-year exams started on March 6. Compared to last year, the TS Inter 1st year exams were held from February 28  to March 18, while the 2nd year exams took place from February 29 to March 19. The result was announced on April 24.
