TS EAMCET Counselling 2024: Registration begins at tgeapcet.nic.in today

TS EAMCET 2024: The Telangana Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) will start the registration for the TS EAMCET counseling 2024 today, July 4. Students who cleared the Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture, and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test (TS EAPCET) are eligible to apply for counseling from the official website — tgeapcet.nic.in.

The council recently revised the TS EAMCET 2024 counseling schedule and postponed the processes for registration, fee payment, and slot booking for document verification to July 4. The last date to apply for phase 1 is July 12.

Eligibility Criteria

– The candidate must be an Indian national

– Candidate should belong to the state of Telangana or Andhra Pradesh.

– In respect of undergraduate professional courses in engineering (including technology) and pharmacy, the candidate should have completed 16 years of age as of December 31, 2024.

– For the Pharm D (Doctor of Pharmacy) course, the candidate should have completed 17 years of age as of December 31, 2024.

– However maximum eligible age for obtaining a scholarship is 25 years for OC candidates and 29 years for other candidates as of July 1, 2024.

– Mere appearing for TG EAPCET 2024 and obtaining a TS EAPCET rank after qualifying the cut off does not entitle a candidate to be considered for admission automatically unless the candidate fulfills the requirements laid down for admissions.

Minority candidates (Muslim or Christian) who have not qualified or not appeared in TG EAPCET 2024 (MPC Stream) and secured 45 per cent (for OC) and 40 per cent (for Others) in group subjects of intermediate or its equivalent examination will be considered for the leftover seats in respective minority colleges, if any, after exhausting all the qualified Minority candidates of TGEAPCET 2024 (MPC Stream). However, these candidates are not eligible for the fee reimbursement scheme, a statement on the official website — tgeapcet.nic.in said.
