The Indian School of Business has bagged 40th position in the Financial Times (FT) Executive MBA (EMBA) Ranking 2024 released on Sunday. It shares its position with EMLyon Business School. Under the rankings, the Institute was ranked 8 in the alumni network, and 19 in the percentage of salary increase among other parameters. It is also the only business school in India which made its place in FT Rankings 2024.
ISB did not rank in 2023 under 100, however, it was able to rank 44 positions in 2022. The percentage increase in the salary of the Institute is 77, the work experience rank is also 21. With 27 per cent of female students in the Institute, ISB has 98 per cent of its faculties with a doctorate.
After maintaining the second position in the 2023 and 2022 rankings, China Europe International Business School (Ceibs) has climbed up to number one rank. The B-school under its salary increase percentage saw an increase of 102 per cent and has a work experience rank of 9. Under overall programme satisfaction, it scored 9.39.
Further, ESCP Business School ranked second followed by Washington University (Olin), IESE Business School, Trium: HEC Paris/LSE/NYU (Stern), MIT (Sloan), Arizona State University, EMBA-Global (Columbia/LBS), Insead, and China’s Fudan University School of Management.
Out of the 100 schools, US-based institutes top the list with Washington University, MIT (Sloan), Arizona State University, and EMBA-Global: Columbia/LBS under the top 10.
In May, under FT’s Executive Education Custom Ranking, ISB had ranked 26 and IIM-Bangalore secured 48 positions in the education ranking. The Institut Européen d’Administration des Affaires (INSEAD) had secured the top position with a growth of 64 points. In 2023, the Institute had ranked at the second position. Under the overall satisfaction category, the business school scored 8.56. The Institute has its campuses in France and Singapore.
