The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced a one-time chance for candidates who missed the self-slot selection facility for the Sub-Inspector and CAPF Exam 2025 to choose their preferred city via the feedback module. The SSC CPO 2025 slot selection window will remain open until 11 am on December 4. Candidates can submit their choices for the Delhi Police Exam 2025 through the official website, ssc.gov.in.

According to the commission, this option is available only to those who did not use the self-slotting facility before the November 21 deadline. City allocation for such candidates will be made on a “best effort basis, mentions the official notification.

The Commission has clarified that candidates who fail to utilise the one-time slot selection opportunity will not be permitted to appear for the computer-based exam, and their admit cards will not be issued. Meanwhile, the SSC CPO city slip 2025 has already been released for those who exercised the self-slotting option during the original window.

The SSC CPO 2025 examination, scheduled from December 9 to 12, aims to fill 5,308 vacancies and will be conducted in four stages: Paper 1, the Physical Standard or Endurance Test (PST/PET), Paper 2, and the Detailed Medical Examination (DME).

Meanwhile, the Commission released the tentative vacancy list for the Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS Non-Technical) and Havaldar posts in CBIC and CBN for the 2025 recruitment cycle. As many as 7,948 vacancies across various states and Union Territories have been announced.

The figures, updated as of November 27, 2025, give insights into region-wise and category-wise distribution.

According to the data, the SSC MTS under the 18 to 25 years category accounts for a major share of positions, with 6,078 vacancies, while the MTS under the 18 to 27 years category includes 732 vacancies.

In addition, 1,138 posts have been earmarked for Havaldar positions under the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) as well as the Central Bureau of Narcotics (CBN). Together, these make up the final tentative total.
