SSC CGL 2025 Tier 1 answer key released, raise grievances by Oct 19

SSC CGL 2025 Answer Key: The tier 1 result will be based on the final answer key. Candidates shortlisted in tier 1 will have to appear for the tier-2 exam which will include paper-1 and paper-2 in separate shifts or days.

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) on October 16 released the answer keys of the tier 1 exam of the Combined Graduate Level (CGL). The ssc.gov.in website is hosting the SSC CGL 2025 answer keys of all the papers. The SSC CGL 2024 exams were held between September 12 and 26 over 15 days and October 14.

The Commission has also provided the candidates with the option to raise grievances against the SSC CGL 2025 answer keys. Candidates can go through the answer keys and submit online representations, if any, within the stipulated time limit on payment some fees per question, which is non-refundable. Candidates can challenge the answer key and the recorded responses online by October 19 (9 pm) by paying Rs 50 per objection. Earlier, the fee to object was Rs 100.

The SSC in the notification also mentioned that the saved question paper will be strictly for personal use and self-analysis only. “An undertaking to this effect has been included in the Challenge Management portal which will be visible to the candidates when they will log in into the same,” it added.

Around 8,000 candidates had their exams on October 14. These candidates include the ones whose tests were disrupted due to a fire incident at a Mumbai centre and others for whom the Commission found ambiguous evidence of malpractice.

SSC CGL 2025: How to download tier 1 answer key

The Commission will typically be uploading the provisional answer key under the “Answer Key” section on the SSC homepage. Along with this, a “Response Sheet” link will be activated for candidates to check their marked responses.

Tier-1 exam consisted of objective type and multiple choice questions. The questions were set both in English and Hindi except for English comprehension. There was a negative marking of 0.50 for each wrong answer.
