Candidates who have cleared the mains exam must appear for the Language Proficiency Test. The LPT is qualifying in nature and will assess a candidate’s ability to read, write, and speak the local language of the state or union territory applied for. This step is mandatory for final selection.
SBI is expected to release individual scorecards and state-wise cut-off marks within a week of the result announcement.
Notably, there is no interview stage for the SBI Clerk recruitment. Final selection will be based entirely on the marks secured in the mains examination, subject to qualification in the LPT.
This year, SBI aims to fill a total of 14,191 vacancies through the Clerk recruitment process. Out of these, 13,735 positions are regular, while 456 are under the backlog category.
Candidates are advised to stay updated through the official SBI website for the release of scorecards, cut-off marks, and the schedule for the Language Proficiency Test.
