RBSE Class 8 Results 2024 Date: The Directorate of Education, Rajasthan is likely to announce the results for RBSE Class 8 this month. Once released, candidates who appeared can check the results from the official website — rajshaladarpan.nic.in. The results will be uploaded at the official website after the state’s education ministry holds a press conference. Along with this, Class 5 results are also pending.
Last year, the Rajasthan board announced the Class 8 results on May 17 and the Class 5 class results on June 1. But, while we await an official confirmation, let’s have a look at when the Rajasthan Board released the Class 8 results in the last five years:
In 2023, the Board released the results on May 17 where approximately 13 lakh students appeared for the exam.
In 2022, the Rajasthan Board announced Class 8 results on June 8. The pass percentage was 95.5 per cent. RBSE class 8 exams were conducted from April 17 to May 17. The Board did not release any merit list.
In 2021, the pandemic effected the result declaration and the Board had to announce results without press conference. In 2020, the results were released on the official website. None of the students appeared for the examination due to pandemic and based on some previous exams and internals, students were promoted to the next class. These two years were affected by Covid, due to which the academic calendar was modified as per the situations.
Over 11 lakhs students appeared for the Class 8 board examination in 2019 whose results were declared on June 7 at 4 pm.
Meanwhile, the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE), Ajmer, will likely release RBSE Class 12 results this week. Once the Ajmer board announces the results, it will be available at the official RBSE website — rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in. Students who appeared for the examination can check their results using login credentials like admit card number and date of birth among others.
Last year in arts stream a total of 7,19,743 students appeared from which 7,09,415 students passed with an overall pass percentage of 92.35 per cent. Girls had performed better with a passing percentage of 94.06 per cent while boys recorded a pass percentage of 90.65 per cent. The Rajasthan Board conducted the exams at 6081 centres.
