To view their results, students need to enter their roll number and name on the official result page. The marks displayed online are provisional, and candidates will be able to collect the original marksheets from their respective schools after the results are formally distributed. The girls have outperformed boys this year.

In 2024, a total of 2,91,917 students appeared for the Punjab Board class 8 examinations conducted by the Punjab Board. Out of these, 2,86,987 students cleared the exam, resulting in an impressive overall pass rate of 98.31%. Girls outperformed boys slightly, achieving a pass percentage of 98.83%, compared to 97.84% among boys.

In comparison to the year previous to that, the PSEB Class 8 results in 2023 were declared on April 28. The school-wise performance showed that government schools had a pass percentage of 97.88%, while private (non-government) schools achieved a higher pass rate of 99.12%. Aided schools recorded a pass percentage of 94.44%.

To successfully pass the PSEB Class 8 examination, students must score at least 33 per cent marks. Those who feel their results do not reflect their performance can apply for re-evaluation or scrutiny once the results are officially declared.
