NLU to be started in Aurangabad, says CM Devendra Fadnavis

At the 35th Foundation Day of the Aurangabad bench of the Bombay High Court, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said the government was working to repeal obsolete laws as recommended by the Law Commission. Fadnavis also announced the decision to set up a National Law University at Aurangabad, along with approving more facilities for the Aurangabad Bench and constructing a residential complex.

Earlier, the Law Commission had recommended repealing of 72 obsolete statutes and simplifying the country’s laws.
