NEET UG correction window reopens; one-time facility to upload correct photo
The admit cards for these candidates have been withheld, and they must refer to the remarks section of their NEET advance city intimation slip to check if they are under scrutiny.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has reopened the correction window on April 25 for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test UG (NEET-UG) till April 26 (11: 59 pm). This is a one-time opportunity for candidates to make corrections to their uploaded photographs at the official website – neet.ntaonline.in
According to the official notice, it has come to the attention of the Agency that many candidates have uploaded photos that do not meet the prescribed format standards issued by them. The admit cards for these candidates have been withheld, and they must refer to the remarks section of their NEET UG advance city intimation slip to check if they are under scrutiny.
This year, the NEET UG exam 2024 is scheduled to be conducted on May 5, in pen and paper mode in a total of 13 languages.
The official notice addressed the issue, “Upon scrutiny of photographs uploaded by candidates during the registration for NEET (UG) – 2024, it has been observed that the photos uploaded by some candidates are not as per prescribed standards format/required specifications. ”

This time, 23 lakh candidates registered for the exam scheduled, of which over 10 lakh are male students, over 13 lakh are girls and 24 students have registered under the ‘third gender’ category.
In 2021, NEET UG saw the admit card release on September 6, followed by the exam on September 12. Moving to 2022, the city slip came out on June 29, with the hall ticket following on July 12, leading up to the July 17 exam. Finally, in the previous year, the NEET UG city slip was released on April 30, followed by the admit card on May 4, ahead of the May 7 exam.
