NEET UG 2024 Counselling: Eligible candidates have to lock the choice at the official MCC website — mcc.nic.in.

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) today extended the last date to fill choices for NEET UG stray vacancy counselling 2024. As per the updated schedule, the registration and payment facility for stray vacancy round has been extended till October 27.

“The Registration and Payment facility for Stray vacancy round of UG Counseling 2024 has been reopened due to many requests of candidates. Registration is available upto 12:00 noon of 27.10.2024 and Payment facility upto 03:00 PM of 27.10.2024,” the official notification stated.

This decision was taken after the Committee received several requests from NEET UG candidates. “Keeping in view the said requests, the Competent Authority has decided to re open the choice filling process which will be available from today,” MCC explained in a notice.

As per the revised timeline, the choice locking facility will be available from 4 pm of October 27 till 11:55 pm of October 27. Eligible candidates have to lock the choice at the official MCC website — mcc.nic.in.

Only those candidates who wish to modify/alter/change their already filled and locked choices may avail the said facility. However, candidates who are satisfied with their choices may not avail the said facility.

MCC also emphasised that no new registration will be allowed at this stage.

According to MCC, 1,184 seats are vacant for the stray vacancy round. Candidates are advised to approach the allotted college or institute only after the declaration of the final result and only after downloading the allotment letter from the MCC website.
