NEET PG counselling 2024 schedule to be out soon at mcc.nic.in

NEET PG 2024 Counselling: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will soon upload the counselling schedule for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2024 at the official MCC website — mcc.nic.in.

Although the MCC website is yet to upload the complete schedule of the NEET PG counselling, the ‘latest news’ section in the mcc.nic.in website is flashing that candidates can get PwD certificates issued from designated disability centres between 3 pm of September 9 and 5 pm of September 25 for round 1 of PG Counselling 2024.

NEET PG 2024 counselling

The NEET PG counselling schedule registration will begin on September 20 and registration for the first list will conclude on September 26, the payment window will close at 3 pm, as per FAIMA. However, the final schedule is expected to release this week.

Last year, the registration for round 1 started on July 27 and continued till August 1. The choice filling window opened on July 28 last year and the NEET PG seat allotment result against round 1 was declared on August 5. In 2023, NEET PG was held on March 5 and the result was declared on March 14.

After this, the choice filling window will be available from September 23 till 26 and choice locking will begin from 4 pm of September 26 till 11:55 pm of the same day. Processing of seat allotment will between available on September 27 to 29. The result of first seat allotment list will release on September 30. Reporting of candidates, on the basis of the first list, will be done between October 1 and 8.

Registration for round 2 will begin on October 14 and conclude on October 21, and the result for second round will be released on October 24. Following this, reporting for these students will be done between October 25 and November 2.

Round 3 registrations will be done between November 7 and 12, and the result will be released on November 16. After this, the stray vacay round registration will be done between November 28 and December 2, for which the result will be declared on December 5.

This year, NEET PG was conducted on Sunday, August 11 in two shifts. The timings for the first shift were from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm while the second shift was held from 3:30 pm to 7:00 pm. NBEMS released the NEET PG result on August 23, which is available at the official website – natboard.edu.in.

In the first shift, 1,07,959 students out of the 1,14,276 registered candidates attended the examination, with 6,317 candidates absent. While in the second shift, 1,08,177 out of 1,14,264 registered candidates attended the exam, and 6,087 students were absent.

The schedule is yet to be uploaded at the official website.
