The board will conduct Class 10 SSC supplementary exams for the students who fail in one or two subjects. The Maha SSC supplementary exam details will be announced during the declaration of result tomorrow.
The Maharashtra board will also provide some additional marks to students who excelled in extra-curricular activities like – Art, Sports, and NCC among others. As many as 1,78,865 students were provided with extra marks last year.
The overall pass percentage saw a dip last year in Maharashtra SSC as the pass percentage recorded in 2023 was 93.83 per cent, it was 96.94 per cent in 2022. In 2022, the results were declared on June 17. In 2021, however it was 99.95 per cent which was substantially higher because of the cancellation of exams and results announced as per alternative assessment criteria. In 2020, it was 95.30 per cent.

A total of 15,60,154 students registered for their Maharashtra SSC exam last year, of which 15,49,326 appeared and 14,84,431 passed the exam. The pass percentage of girls was 97.21% and boys was 94.56%.
Last year, the MSBSHSE board declared the Class 10 SSC results on May 27, 2024. The overall pass percentage was recorded at 95.81 per cent last year, which was 1.98 per cent more than 2023's.

Maharashtra school education minister Dada Bhuse announced the CBSE curriculum will be implemented in the state till Class 12 by 2028. Making a statement in both houses of the state legislature, Bhuse said the new curriculum will come into force for standard one from 2025 and cover all the classes till 12th in 2028.

Applications for mark verification and photocopies can be submitted online from May 14 to 28, 2025, by paying a prescribed fee for the same. For re-evaluation, after mandatorily obtaining an answer sheet, students must apply online to the concerned Divisional Board within five working days.

To apply for re-evaluation of answer sheets for the February-March 2025 exams through the official online method, it is mandatory to first obtain a photocopy of the answer sheet.

With over 15 lakh students participating and more than 14.8 lakh clearing the Class 10 exam in 2024, the MSBSHSE results showcase the state’s robust academic engagement and overall student performance.
Students under the special category mirrored the private candidate success rate. Out of 25,368 who appeared, 20,403 passed, resulting in an 80.42% pass percentage in the 2024 Class 10 exam.
A total of 26,894 students registered as private candidates in 2024, with 25,368 appearing and 20,403 passing. The pass rate for private students stood at 80.42%, indicating commendable outcomes outside the regular schooling system.
An impressive 187 students achieved a perfect 100% score in the MSBSHSE SSC 2024 exam. Latur division had the highest count, with 123 students attaining this exceptional feat.
