
Maharashtra CET Result 2023 Updates: The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra today declared the result of the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test 2023 for the physics, chemistry, and mathematics (PCM) and physics, chemistry, and biology (PCB) groups today at 11 am. The scorecards are available at the official website — cetcell.mahacet.org, mahacet.in and mahacet.org.
This year, the MHT CET exam for PCM group was conducted between May 9 and May 14, and the PCB group exams were held from May 15 till May 20. The exams were held via online mode as a Computer Based Test (CBT). A total 28 students, 14 from PCM group and 14 from PCB group have secured 100 percentile.
Once the MHT CET 2023 result is released, the authorities will conduct online MHT CET counselling 2023 for qualified candidates. Candidates have to participate in the counselling process to be considered for admission based on MHT CET 2023 result.

Seshadri Iyer from Mumbai’s Borivali is one of the 28 candidates who scored 100 percentile in MHT CET 2023. Iyer appeared in the PCB group, wants to pursue medical for higher education. A total of 2,82,070 students registered for PCM group in 2022, out of which 2,31,264 students appeared for the exam. In the PCB group, a total of 3,23,874 students registered and 2,36,115 students appeared for the exam.

MHT CET 2023 scores will be normalized given above steps
The MHT CET 2022 score card will have subject-wise marks, total marks and qualifying status of the candidates. According to these details, the candidate will get to know if he/she has qualified for counselling round or not.
The Percentile Score indicates the percentage of candidates that have scoredewual to or below (same or lower raw scores) that particular Percentile in that examination. Therefore the topper (highest score) of each session will get the same percentile of 100 which is desirable. The marks obtained in between the highest and lowest scores are also converted to appropriate Percentiles.

For candidates seeking admission to first year pharmacy, Pharm D degree courses, it is mandatory that they appear for Physics, Chemistry as well as Mathematics and/or Biology papers.
The Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics exam shall be taken by candidates aspiring to take admission in first year engineering and technology degree courses
Students will have to undergo counselling once the results are declared. They will be allotted seats and programme on the basis of counselling.
