Meghalaya MBOSE SSLC HSSLC Result (OUT) 2023: Class 10th, 12th Arts score cards released, Larisa Lamin secures first rank in HSSLC

MBOSE SSLC HSSLC (Arts) Result 2023 date and time: The Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBOSE) has announced the date and time for the release of Class 10 (SSLC) and Class 12 (HSSLC) Arts result. Students can check their result today at mbose.in.

The Meghalaya Board SSLC (Class 10) exams were held from March 3 to March 17 and the exams were conducted from 10 am to 1 pm. HSSLC exams concluded on March 28, and the exams were conducted from 10 am to 1 pm. The overall pass percentage for HSSLC arts stream stood at 80.30 per cent with regular students securing 85.72 per cent pass percentage and private students securing 35.52 per cent pass percentage. A total of 25,898 students applied for the exams out of which 25,437 out of which 20,425 students cleared the exam.

Among regular students, girls secured a pass percentage of 88.40 per cent, while boys secured 81.55 per cent pass percentage. A total of 22,842 candidates applied out of which 22,689 appeared for the exam and 19,449 students cleared the exam.

Larisa Lamin of Adventist Higher Secondary School, Thadlaskein bagged the first spot in HSSLC exam with 450 marks out of 500, followed by Avelyne Francisca Khriam of St. Edmund’s Higher Secondary School, Shillong with 449 marks and Deinamesha Hynniewta of St. Anthony’s Higher Secondary School, Shillong with 446 marks.

Eastern West Khasi Hills became the best performing district with 91.64 per cent pass percentage while South Garo Hills recorded the lowest pass percentage with 49.23 per cent pass percentage. The overall pass percentage dipped by 0.87 per cent compared to last year.

In SSLC, Samridhya Das of Sherwood School Tura secured first rank with 572 marks out of 600. Jyotipriya Bhattacharjee of St. Margaret’s Higher Secondary School, Shillong came second with 570 marks. The third position was secured by three students Tanushri Acharjee of St. Margaret’s Higher Secondary School, Shillong, Ritam Deep Chowdhury of Sherwood School, Tura and Salrime M Sangma of St. Xavier’s Secondary School, Tura with 564 marks out of 600.

Last year, the overall pass percentage for the HSSLC Arts stream was 81.17 per cent, and Diya Sinha scored the first rank across the state by securing 93 per cent. A total of 22,711 students appeared for the exams and out of which 18,434 students passed the exams successfully.

In 2022, SSLC results were declared on June 10. The MBOSE Class 10 SSLC board exams were conducted between March 24 and April 6, 2022.  A total of 32,678 candidates have passed the examination and the overall pass percentage was 56.96 per cent. In 2021, the Class 10 result was announced on August 5.  The examination was conducted by following all Covid-19 protocols issued by the state and central government.

A total of 51,334 students appeared for the class 10 examinations in 2021 and the overall pass percentage was 50.31 per cent. Out of the total number of students who appeared 28,412 were girls while 22,992 were boys.
