Meghalaya MBOSE Board HSSLC Result 2025 Declared: The Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBOSE) has announced the HSSLC Class 12 results 2025 for Science, Commerce, Vocational, and Arts streams. Students who appeared for the examinations can now check and download their scorecards from the official websites — mbose.in or megresults.nic.in. According to the Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBOSE), the Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) Examination Results 2025 have been declared for Arts, Commerce, and Science streams. This year, the overall pass percentages across all three streams remained above 80%, reflecting consistent performance by students in the state. In the Arts stream, out of 23,291 students who applied, 22,835 appeared for the exams. A total of 18,736 students passed, resulting in a pass percentage of 82.05%. Among them, 2,732 secured first division, 7,526 achieved second division, and 7,415 passed in third division. Additionally, 267 candidates were placed in the compartmental category, and 796 appeared for improvement exams. Out of these, 2,033 students cleared the exam, recording a pass percentage of 81.28%. The stream saw 846 students in the first division, 998 in the second division, and 86 in the third division. A total of 94 students were placed in the compartmental category, while 10 attempted improvement. A total of 3,253 passed the examination, taking the pass percentage to 82.94%. Among the successful candidates, 1,552 achieved first division, 1,507 secured second division, and 52 managed third division. There were 61 compartmental cases and 81 students attempted improvement exams. Saptarshi Bhattacharjee of Laban Bengalee Boys' Higher Secondary School topped science stream exam by scoring 483 marks while Darishana Roychoudhury and Shweta Sharma of St Anthony's Higher Secondary School secured the second and third positions by obtaining 477 and 473 marks respectively. Albert Mate and Idawanplishisha Swer of St Edmund's Higher Secondary School shared the top position by securing 455 marks while Nelly Mary Khymdeit of St Paul's Higher Secondary School, Nongpoh and Safilia Wahlang of St Anthony's Higher Secondary School secured the second and third position respectively. Disha Chokhani of St Anthony's Higher Secondary School topped the commerce stream by securing 481 marks while Nshan Talukdar and Dipankar Barua of Laban Bengalee Boys' Higher Secondary School bagged the second and third positions by securing 476 and 468 marks respectively. In addition to the official websites, candidates will also be able to check their scores on Indian Express's education portal. Candidates will be required to register themselves in order to receive their MBOSE HSSLC Result 2025 on the website at education.indianexpress.com. The MBOSE SSLC Class 10 board exams were held between February 10 and February 25, 2025. To access their MBOSE Class 12 result 2025, students need to enter their roll number as mentioned on their admit card. To collect the MBOSE Class 12 original mark sheets, students need to visit their respective schools a few days after the result 2025 declaration. This year, the MBOSE conducted the Class 12 board exams between February 18 and March 19. The practical component of the MBOSE Class 12 exams was conducted between February 4 and 14. Last year, MBOSE declared results for Science, Commerce and Vocational streams on May 8, 2024. The MBOSE Class 12 exams last year were held between March 1 and March 27. The Science stream last year saw a total pass percentage of 85.24%, while for Commerce the percentage stood at 80.26%. Sohan Bhattacharjee of Laban Bengalee Boys’ Hr. Sec. School, Shillong, topped the Science stream with 483 marks and Ferry Filarisha Wann of St. Mary’s Higher Secondary School, Shillong, has emerged as the Commerce stream topper with a score of 472. Last year, MBOSE declared results for the Arts stream on May 24, whereas results for Science, Commerce and Vocational streams were declared on May 8, 2024. In 2024, 79.76 per cent students were declared successful. Menangmankhraw Kharkongor of St Anthony’s Higher Secondary School and Gaurav Bharali of St Edmund’s Higher Secondary School shared the top position with 468 marks, while Tanisha Das and Salseng Marak, both of Don Bosco College Higher Secondary School in Tura, secured the second and third positions by scoring 451 and 450 marks, respectively. Last year total, 27,374 students from 251 schools appeared for the exams. Of them, 21,833 or 79.76 per cent of students cleared the exams. In 2023, the pass percentage was 80.30.
