Comparing the data from 2024 to 2023, there has been a slight decrease in the overall pass percentage of 1st year this time. In 2023, the pass percentage for Inter 1st year was 63.85%, which decreased to 61.06% in 2024.

However, for Inter 2nd year, the pass percentage increased from 67.27% in 2023 to 69.46% in 2024.

Last year, in both first and second-year results, girls outperformed boys. In the first-year results, girls secured a pass percentage of 68.68%, whereas boys achieved 54.66%. Similarly, in the second-year results, girls attained a pass percentage of 71.57%, surpassing boys who scored 55.6%.

The supplementary exams for TS Inter 1st and 2 year 2024 will begin from May 24, the TSBIE official today announced in a press conference.

To access the Inter result for 2024, students should begin by visiting the official website -- tsbie.cgg.gov.in. Once there, locate and click on the designated link for 'Inter result 2023.' You'll then be prompted to log in using your credentials. Upon successful login, your result will be displayed on the screen. Make sure to download and save your scorecard for future reference.

Recounting and reverification process will begin from April 25 and will continue till May 2. Students will have to pay Rs 600 per subject as the revaluation fee. If the request is found to be correct, a part of this fee will be returned to the students.

The overall pass percentage for TS 2nd year general students stood 69.46 per cent, with female securing 75.71 per cent, and boys securing 62.92 per cent.

In the first year, the overall pass percentage stands at 60.01%, with females candidates outperforming male candidates. Girls achieved a pass percentage of 68.35%, while boys attained 51.50%.

Total number of students obtaining grade A, B, C and D for Telangana Board First year exam –

- A total of 1,70,212 students secured Grade A from general course, whereas from Vocational course a total 15,813 students obtained grade A (greater than or equal to 75 per cent marks)

- A total of 60,713 students secured Grade B from general course, whereas from Vocational course a total 8,272 students obtained grade B (greater than or equal to 60 per cent and less than 75 per cent marks)

- A total of 23,650 students secured Grade C from general course, whereas from Vocational course a total 318 students obtained grade C (greater than or equal to 50 per cent and less than 60 per cent marks)

- A total of 8, 254 students secured Grade D from general course, whereas from Vocational course a total 29 students obtained grade D (greater than or equal to 35 per cent and less than 50 per cent marks).

In this year's Telangana Board IPE Exam, a total of 5,02,280 students participated in the second-year examination, with 1,94,311 students achieving first division. Out of these, 4,01,445 students were enrolled in the general course, while 42,723 students belonged to vocational courses.

In the first year, the overall pass percentage stands at 60.01%, with females candidates outperforming male candidates. Girls achieved a pass percentage of 68.35%, while boys attained 51.50%.

In this year's Telangana Board IPE Exam, a total of 4,78,723 students participated in the first-year examination, with 2,87,261 students successfully passing. Among them, 4,30,413 students were enrolled in the general course, with 2,62,829 students clearing the examination. Conversely, for the vocational course, 48,310 students took the exam, and 24,432 students passed.

The results are being declared by Principal Secretary, Education, Burra Venkatesham and Secretary, TS BIE, Shruthi Ojha in a press conference, which has started a few minutes before 11 am.

The press conference for Telangana 1st and 2nd year result decalration is about to begin. Once the results are announced in the press conference, students will be able to check their scores at tsbie.cgg.gov.in, results.cgg.gov.in, and even at education.indianexpress.com.

If you fail to clear the IPE 1st and 2nd year exams, do not fret. Those who fail to pass should not feel dejected and prepare better for the Intermediate Public Advanced Supplementary Examinations, for which the dates will be announced after result declaration.

In 2022, there was a significant decrease in the pass percentage, dropping from 100% in 2021 to 67.16% in 2022. Out of the 4.42 lakh students who appeared for the second-year exams, 2.97 lakh successfully passed. Similarly, in the first year, 4.64 lakh students sat for the exam, with 2.94 lakh candidates clearing it.

However, this was mainly due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

In the TS intermediate exams, the first-year exams saw participation from a total of 4,82,675 students, with 2,97,741 candidates passing, resulting in a pass percentage of 61.68%. Moving to the second year, 4,65,478 students appeared for the exams, out of which 2,95,550 students passed, leading to a pass percentage of 63.49%

This year, TS Inter 1st and 2ns year results will be released by Principal Secretary, Education, Burra Venkatesham and Secretary, TS BIE, Shruthi Ojha. Like last year, this time the state education minister will not lead the result declaration press conference, due to the moral code of conduct which is in place due to the ongoing Lok Sabha elections.

Aside from the tsbie.cgg.gov.in website, students can also find the TS inter 2024 result link on indianexpress.com. To access and download the TSBIE inter results from either platform, students will need to provide their roll numbers and date of birth.

Last year, the TS inter result was declared on May 9 and before that, the result was declared on June 28. Last year the TSBIE second year exams were conducted between March 16 and April 4 and in 2022 from April 22 to May 12.
