Manabadi TSBIE TS Inter Results 2020 HIGHLIGHTS: The Telangana Board, TSBIE announce the result of intermediate first, the second-year examination on Thursday, June 18. The result was announced in the presence of state education minister at 3 pm. There is a slight increase in pass percentage from 59,77 per cent in 2019 for the first year and 65.01 per cent in the second year to 60.01 per cent in the first year and 68.86 per cent this year.

The candidates have to pay an amount of Rs 100 per paper for recounting and Rs 600 per paper for re verification-cum-scanned answer scripts

How to apply for re-evaluation

The students who are not satisfied with their marks can apply for re-evaluation. The online window to apply for recounting, re verification-cum-scanned answer scripts will be open till June 24.

25K invigilators and 15K evaluators

As many as 25,000 invigilators conducted exams for nearly 10 lakh students at 1,339 exam centres. Further, 15,000 evaluators successfully valued the answer scripts, as per the TSBIE.

Its a hattrick for Medchal

Medchal does it again. The district has emerged as the best district with an overall pass percentage of 75% in class 12 and 76% in class 11. This is the third time that Medchal has delivered the best result. In this district too, girls have performed better than boys. Girls from Medchal had scored 82% pass percentage and boys at 69% in class 12 and in class 11, 70% of boys and 82% of  girls passed from the region.

Best result in past five years for TS Inter second year

For TS inter second-year students. This is the best ever pass percentage in the past five years or since 2015.

2020 - 68.86%
2019 - 65.01%
2018 - 67.25%
2017 - 66.45%

Minor increase in pass percentage

There is a slight increase in pass percentage from 59,77 per cent in 2019 for first year and 65.01 per cent in second year to 60.01 per cent in first year and 68.86 per cent this year.

Concerns against mark sheet

The mark sheets will be issued to the respective principals on June 22. In case a student finds any discrepancy in the mark sheet, the same needs to be notified to board through the concerned principal on or before July 17.

How to apply for reevaluation

Students can apply for recounting, re verification-cum-scanned answer scripts online at tsbie.cgg.gov.in till June 24. They will have to pay an amount of Rs.100/- (Rupees one hundred only) per paper for Recounting and Rs.600/ per paper for re verification-cum- scanned answer scripts supply.

Counselling service and grievance redressal portal

The Board has also taken the services of Clinical Psychologists to help the students to overcome any problem related to stress, strain, tension, anxiety, nervousness etc., Students are advised to contact these Clinical Psychologists from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm.  TSBIE has also launched a complaint portal - www.bigrs.telangana.gov.in to address grievances of students. A BIGRS mobile app is also available, however, it is only for Android users.

Most students got A grade

In the first year, most students passed with A grade or 75%+ marks. As many as 1.49 lakh in general and 15,207 in vocational and hence a total of over 1.64 lakh students passed the TS first with A grade. In the second year, too over 1.67 lakh students had got A grade of which 1.53 appeared for the exam in regular mode.

Girls score better than boys, again

For the third consecutive year, girls have scored better than boys. The pass percentage of girls in first year is 67.47% as compared to 52.31% for boys. In the second year, the pass percentage of girls is 75.15% as compared to 62.11% of boys clearing the exam.

TS Inter 2nd year fair better than 1st year

As many as 60.01 per cent of students have passed the TS Inter first year exams while the pass percentage of TS Inter second year is 68.86 per cent. Keeping up the trend, second-year students showed a better result than first-year students.

When will websites start working?

As soon as the result was announced, the websites have been either loading slow or showing error. While this seems to be due to the heavy load on the websites. An official from the TSBIE told indianexpress.com that the link will be activated by 4 pm, latest.

Key questions from TS inter result

-- Is this year's result error-free?
-- Did Medchal district hit a hattrick?
-- Did the pass percentage touch 80% this year? That would be a record-high in recent times
-- Did govt school improve their performance?

Websites loading slow

Despite the efforts made by TSBIE, the websites are loading very slowly. Students have been facing the issue in checking result, While there is no clarification from the board, it seems that the delay is being caused due to heavy traffic on the sites. Declared! How to check result

Telangana has declared the result for the inter exams for both first-year and second-year students today in presence of state education minister. This has bought respite to over 9.5 lakh students who had been waiting for the result for months now. The result has been delayed from April to now in June due to the coronavirus.

TS Inter result 2020: What is grading system?

The Board had decided to launch grades since 2018, however, it only came into play from 2019. Students will be given grade letters. Here is decoding of the result grades -

Grade A - More than 75 per cent
Grade B - 60 to 75 per cent
Grade C - 50 tp 60 per cent
Grade D - 35 to 50 per cent

Those who score below 35 per cent are deemed to be failed and have to reappear for the supplementary exam.

Documents needed to check TS inter result

Candidates need to keep their admit card ready. Students will be asked to type their roll number while checking the result. The verification of the mark sheet should also be done with the name, subjects, exam centre as mentioned on the hall ticket

Would govt colleges improve performance?

Last year, not even half of the students from government institutes could clear the exam. The government colleges in the state have witnessed a poor pass percentage, with only 46.1 per cent students passed in the first year. In govt-aided colleges, 43.5 per cent passed in the first year and 50.17 per cent in second-year. While better performance is hoped, the picture will be clear in an hour now.

Medchal district up for a hattrick

Medchal district had topped in 2018 while Mahabubabad was the least performing district. In 2019 as well Medchal district topped among district while Medak was the worst-performing district. It would be worth seeing if Medchal could create a hattrick this year.

How to get mark sheet?

Students will have to take a print out of their results. It will act as a provisional mark sheet. The official mark sheets will be released after some time. Students will be able to collect it from respective schools, once the lockdown is lifted. As per UGC guidelines, these provisional mark sheets will be helpful in securing admission

TSBIE launches grievance redressal portal

In a new move, the TSBIE has this year launched a Board of Intermediate Grievance Redressal System (BIGRS). Students who think that there is any error in their result or which to raise any complaint can do so at bigrs.telangana.gov.in. The link to the same is available at the official website as well along with the result link. The result link, however, is not active yet and will be at 3 pm.

TS Inter mobile apps

While the result will be available at the official app T App Folio. The state board has also launched a mobile-based application ‘TSBIE m-services’ from where students could locate their exam centre as well as get the direct and shortest distance from home to the exam centre.

Anti-cheating mechanism

The TS Inter exams were held across 1339 exam centres across the state. A total of 25,550 invigilators were roped in to ensure there is no scope for cheating, claimed the state board.

After last year's alleged goof-up in the declaration of result, the state board has ensured to subject this year's result to double checks. The official informed indianexpress.com that the result had undergone double checks after processing to ensure proper an error-free result.

What if I do not pass?

In case a student fails to obtain the required marks to clear the exam, students will get a second chance. The Board of Intermediate Education (BIE) has released the dates for the Advanced Supplementary examinations, which will be held from July 11 to 18. Practical exams will be held from July 1 to 4 in two sessions.

How many marks needed to pass

As per the rules of the Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE), students who have obtained 35 per cent marks will be declared qualified. The total percentage of students will be calculated based on scores obtained in five subjects or 500 marks. In exams having both practical and theory aspects, students need to clear both the sections separately. In such cases, students need to obtain 35 per cent marks in the 75 marks theory exam as well as 25 marks practical exam, as per the state board rules.

What was last year's pass percentage?

In 2019, as many as 66 per cent of students who appeared or the TS inter first year exam cleared it while 70.8 per cent cleared the exam for class 12 or TS inter the second year in 2019.

TS Inter result 2020: Result date and time

Wait of over 9.5 lakh students will be over today as Telanagan Intermediate result for both classes 11 and 12 or first year and second-year will be declared today. The result link will be activated at 3 pm, as per the official.

Manabadi TS Inter Results 2020 HIGHLIGHTS: A total of 58.2 per cent students cleared the intermediate exam last year. The results were marred by controversies as several students had claimed their lives too alleging that they failed the exam. The board announced the result for SSC or class 10 exam next week. Around 5.34 lakh (5,34,903 ) students who had appeared in the exam are waiting for the results.
