Maharashtra SSC 10th Result 2024 Declared at mahresult.nic.in: The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) declared the results for Class 10 (SSC) on May 27 at 11 am. The SSC result link will be active at 1 pm and the MSBSHSE Class 10 students can check their results at the official websites — mahresult.nic.in, sscresult.mkcl.org, sscresult.mahahsscboard.in, and from results.digilocker.gov.in.
This year, the exam was held in total 8 mediums. The overall pass percentage is 95.81 per cent, which is 1.98 per cent more than last year’s passing percentage. In 2023, the overall pass percentage was 93.83 per cent, which was a drop of 3.18 per cent compared to 2022.

A total of 15,60,154 SSC students registered for their MSBSHSE Class 10 exams, of which 15,49,326 appeared. A total of 14,84,431 passed the SSC exam.
Additionally, this year too, girls have performed better than boys. The pass percentage of girls is 2.56 per cent higher than boys. SSC girls scored 97.21 per cent, while boys scored 94.56 per cent.

A total of 558021 students scored more than 75 per cent. Out of a total 23,288 schools registered, 9382 recorded 100 per cent results. Of the 72 subjects, MSBSHSE SSC students scored 100 per cent results in 18 subjects.
Out of the nine divisions, the Konkan district pass percentage is the highest (99.01%) while the Nagpur division scored the lowest 94.73%.

A total of 187 students achieved a perfect 100 percent score. Division-wise, Latur had the highest number with 123 students, followed by Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar with 32, and Pune with 10. Mumbai had 8 students, Amravati had 7, while Kolhapur and Konkan each had 3. Nagpur had 1 student, and Nashik had none.
In addition to regular students, 26894 registered as private students, out of which 25368 appeared, and 20403 students passed. The pass percentage of private students was 80.42 per cent. In the special category, 26,894 students registered, 25,368 appeared, and 20,403 passed the SSC exams, taking the pass percentage to 80.42 per cent.
This year, the Maharashtra board gave some additional marks to students who excelled in extra-curricular activities like – Art, Sports, and NCC among others. A total of 178865 students bagged these extra marks.
As per an official circular, the SSC students who wish to apply for re-evaluation can do so either personally or through their school. The window for re-evaluation will be available from May 28 to June 11.
Similarly, those who have passed all subjects but wish to take a grade-improvement exam can only do so in July-August 2024 or March 2025. Students who wish to take the re-examination or apply for the grade-improvement examination can fill out the forms online from May 31 onwards. A separate circular regarding the re-examinations will be released soon.
Last year, 43 schools across 9 divisions recorded a zero per cent pass rate. Aurangabad was the most affected with 9 schools reporting no passes, followed by Mumbai with 8 schools. Latur had 7 schools with a zero per cent result, while Amravati had 5 such schools. Both Nagpur and Kolhapur reported 4 schools each, and Pune and Nashik each had 3 schools with no students passing. Notably, the Konkan division had no schools with a zero per cent result.
In 2023, as many as 33,306 students were allowed to keep term (ATKT). Allowed To Keep Term is a programme in which students with failure in two subjects are allowed to take provisional admission in Class 11. They have to clear the papers before taking admission to Class 12
