The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) will conduct the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) or Class 10 board exam from March 1, 2024. The Maharashtra board has also released the tentative timetable on their official website.
As per the Maharashtra SSC time table, the exams will end on March 22. The morning shift will be held from 11 am to 2 pm and the afternoon shift will be conducted between 3 pm to 6 pm.
The SSC exam will begin with a language paper and will conclude with the geography paper.
According to the schedule, the first exam will be conducted on February 21 (English), followed by Hindi exam in morning shift and other languages in evening shift on February 22. Other languages will be held on February 23 and 24.
The Organisation of commerce and management exam will be held in the morning shift of February 26, followed by Logic, Physics on February 27, Secretarial practice, Home management on February 28, Chemistry on February 29.
In March, Mathematics and statistics is scheduled on March 2, followed by Co-operation on March 5, Biology, History and development of Indian music on March 6, Book keeping and accountancy on March 7, Geology and Economics on March 9.
Commerce group 1 (banking, office management, marketing and salesmanship, small industries and self employment, agriculture, fishery) is scheduled on March 12, and the group 2 exam is on March 14.
Every year, nearly 15 lakh SSC students register for the exam. In 2023, as many as 1529096 students appeared across the state out of which 1434898 passed. A total of 526210 students got first class, 334015 got second division while 85298 got the pass class.
