
KSEAB SSLC Result 2023, Karnataka SSLC 10th Result 2023: The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) today announced the SSLC (Class 10) results. Students who appeared for the exam can check the results at the official website — sslc.karnataka.gov.in. Score card link is now activated at karresults.nic.in.
This year, 835102 students had appeared for the SSLC exams, of which 7,00,619 passed, recording a pass percentage of 83.89%. The overall pass percentage has taken a hit from 85% in 2022. This year, only four students score 625/625, as compared to 145 students last year.
In 2022, the SSLC total pass percentage was 85.63 per cent, highest pass percentage in the past decade, excluding the 99.99 per cent recorded in 2021 when all the students were declared passed due to the pandemic.

Students were given 10 per cent of grace marks this year, compared to 5 per cent in 2022. A total of 59,246 students have benefited from 10 per cent grace marks awarded this year.
A total of 61,003 students secured 90 per cent to 100 per cent marks getting A+ grade, 1,47,634 secured 80 per cent to 89 percent marks getting A grade. A total of 1,75,489 students secured B grade by getting 70 per cent to 79 per cent marks and 19,301 students got C grade by securing 35 per cent to 49 per cent marks.

The difficulty level of the paper was 20 per cent, similar to that during pre-pandemic years. But, the pass percentage has improved drastically from the pre-pandemic years. A total of 1517 schools secured 100 per cent pass percentage up from 1462 schools in 2022. No government schools got zero per cent result. 482 aided schools recorded 100 per cent result while 11 aided schools recorded zero per cent result. 1824 unaided schools secured 100 per cent result while 23 unaided schools recorded zero per cent results.
A total of 4,83,710 students appeared for SSLC exam from rural areas compared to 3,51,392 students from urban areas. The pass percentage for rural areas stood at 87 per cent while for urban areas it is 79.62 per cent
Chitradurga district had the highest pass percentage amongst all districts with 96.8 per cent, followed by Mandya with 96.7 per cent and Hassan with 96.6 per cent. The lowest pass percentage was from Yadgir at 75.49 per cent, the second last position was secured by 78.73 per cent and Bengaluru South came third last with 78.95 per cent.

The overall pass percentage for regular students stood at 87.76 per cent, girls outshone boys with 94.43 per cent pass percentage while boys secured 85.09 per cent pass percentage. The total pass percentage of private students stood at 7.48 per cent with girls securing 9.83 per cent pass percentage and boys securing 6.2 pass percentage. This year 36.33 per cent repeaters cleared the exam out of which the pass percentage for girls was 36.87 per cent and for boys it was 36.12 per cent.
A total of 59,246 students have benefited from 10 per cent grace marks this year. The grace marks have been increased to 10 per cent compared to 5 per cent last year.
Students simply have to enter their registration number and date of birth to get their KSEEB SSC 10th results.

KSEEB has released the SSC 10th results at karresults.nic.in. Students have to simply enter their registration number and date of birth to access their score cards.
Last year, the overall pass percentage was 85.63. The overall pass percentage for girls was 92.44 per cent while for boys it was 86.34 per cent. This year, the increase in difficulty level is the reason only a few students have scored 625/625. The difficulty level is defined as:
20% - difficult
40% - moderate difficult
40%- moderate
This year, 11 aided schools recorded zero percent result, while 482 aided schools recorded 100% result. A total of 1824 unaided schools recorded 100% result, and 23 unaided schoos recorded zero percent results.
This year, 10% of grace marks were given to students, compared to 5% in 2019- 2020. A total of 59,246 students have benefited from 10% grace marks this year.
The KSEEB official website is not yet available for students. Candidates will be able to check their SSC 10th results soon at the official website — sslc.karnataka.gov.in.

In the 2023 SSLC results, rural area studentrs have score better than urban area students. The overall pass percentage of the rural area students was recorded at 87% (as compared to 87.38% in 2022), and urban area students reported 79.62% (as compared to 82.04% in 2022).
This year, 87.76% regular fresh students have cleared the SSLC exams, and 7.48% were private fresh students.

Students who do not clear the examination will be given the option of taking a compartment or supplementary examination. After the results are released, more information about this exam will be shared.
As per sources, The Indian Express has learnt that while the result will be declared soon, the score cards will be made available at 11 am.

In 2021, all the Karnataka SSLC 10th students were declared pass. The recorded pass percentage was 99.99 per cent. In 2020, a total of 5,82,316 students had cleared the SSLC exam with a pass percentage of 71.80 per cent

91-100 Marks = A+ grade
81-90 Marks = A grade
71-80 marks = B+ grade

The Directorate of Government Exams, Tamil Nadu will today announce the results for Class 12 or HSC exams 2023. Students who appeared for the exam can check their results at the official website — tnresults.nic.in.

Hailing from the Jumanaala village in the Vijayapura district, the 16-year-old joined the Government High School in his village with a fixed vision — to become a state topper. His eldest brother Kenchappa says that Madar was inspired after seeing the topper’s board in the school and made up his mind to see himself on that list.
“Madar doesn’t talk much. But his work speaks a lot. Since I am pursuing B.Ed in Sanskrit, we both converse in Sanskrit at home. He has learnt over 100 Sanskrit verses and he believes it has increased his memory power. Moreover, he is a yoga practitioner. This has contributed significantly to his academic performance,” says Kenchappa who helped his brother by supplying most of his educational resources. Read his story here
The Karnataka Secondary Education Board will declare the results today, after which students can visit kseeb.kar.nic.in and karresults.nic.in to check their subject-wise scores. After landing on the home page of the official websites, students have to click on the result link, after which they will be directed to the new page, wherein the roll numbers or registration numbers will be filled in. The scores will then be displayed on the screen.
In 2021, the class 10 result was declared on August 9 from 3:30 pm onwards. The pass percentage in 2021 was 99.99 per cent and a total of 1.28 lakh students secured the A+ grade. The board exams were held in a Multiple Choice Questions format.
In 2022, of the 8,53,436 students who appeared for the exam, 730881 students successfully passed the exam. A total of 352752 boys and 368579 girls passed the Karnataka SSLC class 10 exams
To check the result students will need to enter their email id, registration number, his or her name. The result will be displayed on the screen and students should save the result for future use. Read more here
In 2022, over 8.73 lakh students registered for the Class 10 examination, out of which more than 20,000 were absent. The overall pass percentage for girls was 92.44 per cent while for boys it was 86.34 per cent. And, overall pass percentage was 85.63
Last year (2022), the pass percentage for SSLC was 85.63 per cent, the highest in the decade except the Covid years when all students were promoted. In 2019-20, before the pandemic hit, the overall pass percentage was 72.42 per cent.
Previous year (2022) Karnataka SSLC topper, Amit Madar secured 625 out of 625 marks. Madar belongs to Jumanaala village in Vijaypura district. The now 17-year-old joined the Government High School in his village with the aim to become a state topper. Madar's brother Kenchappa said that duo talks in Sanskrit at home as Kenchappa is pursuing BEd in Sanskrit. The Karnataka education department suspended 16 teachers in Kalburgi district on April 5 on the suspicion of allowing students to cheat during the SSLC mathematics paper held on April 3. A senior KSEAB official said that the Superintendent of Police, Kalburgi saw a crowd gathered at an exam centre and when he went there to check, it was found that bits of paper scripts were lying near the window.
