Karnataka 2nd PUC Results 2023: The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board will today begin the supplementary exam registration. Students will be able to apply for supplementary exams at the official website — karesults.nic.in.

The time table for the supplementary exams will be notified at the official website in the last week of April.

The students who haven’t secured 35 per cent marks overall will have to appear for compartment or supplementary examination. Students have time till April 26 to apply for the supplementary exams. After that, the registration link will stay active till May 2 but candidates will have to pay an additional amount for late registration.

All students excluding SC, ST and C-1 category will have to pay Rs 140 as supplementary fees for one subject, Rs 270 for two subjects, Rs 400 for three or more subjects.

The board has clarified that ‘failed candidates need not wait for revaluation result to apply for supplementary exams’.

In 2023’s PU results, overall pass percentage has been recorded as 74.67 per cent, and a total of 2,704 students scored perfect score (100/100) in Mathematics, followed by 5,335 in Computer Science and 3,475 in Accountancy. Additionally, 1,09,509 students scored distinction this year (85 per cent above) while 77,371 students scored third or pass class (below 50 per cent). Nearly 15,000 students have been given grace marks of 5 per cent.
