JEE Main 2024 Result: Dakshesh Sanjay Mishra and Aryan Prakash, both hailing from Maharashtra scored 100 percentile in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2024 result for session 2 released on Wednesday. They are among the 56 candidates who topped the entrance test.

Prakash and Mishra both want to take admission to the Indian Institute of Technology in Bombay and join Computer Science Engineering (CSE).
A resident of Navi Mumbai, Mishra secured an all-India rank 2 in the exam and believes with a more competitive peer group in IIT-B, he will be motivated to do better.
“Since they were going to consider the best of two scores, I was anticipating that I would be on the list of toppers. I did not appear for the second session. After a 100 percentile score in the first session, I shifted my focus to JEE Advanced,” said Mishra.
Prakash, who secured the 10th position appeared for both sessions of JEE Main. He got 100 percentile from the first session whereas in the second session, he scored 99.997 percentile.
Both Mishra and Prakash studied 10-12 hours every day and focused on solving question papers to strengthen their confidence. The mantra for success according to Aryan is to have a controlled mind.
“It is very important to keep calm. If everything is easy, you have to ensure that there is no mistake by you in excitement, and if everything is difficult it is important to not panic in order to ensure focus,” said Aryan who used to play volleyball and watched television using his free time.
After completing his preparation for JEE-Advanced, Mishra will shift his focus towards the Asian Physics Olympiad, said the topper, adding that for now, he is looking forward to watching some good movies from his favourite sci-fi genre.
Mishra’s father is also an engineer with an electrical background and his mother works in the telecom sector. He shifted from Navi Mumbai to Andheri to live at the hostel facility provided by the Allen Career Institute to prepare for JEE.
Aryan’s parents are retired officers from the income tax department. The support and knowledge of his parents in mathematics and physics helped him exceptionally. “Their knowledge in mathematics in a way helped me understand the subject so well,” said Aryan adding that their support has been important for him.
