The Indian Institute of Technology, Jodhpur (IIT Jodhpur) has partnered with Futurense Technologies to jointly launch a hybrid Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) in Data Science and Engineering. Interested students can register for this programme by visiting the official website – uni.futurense.com/IIT-Jodhpur-PG-Diploma-Data-Science-and-Engineering

It is a 12 months long programme (330 hours), which will begin on August 1, 2023. The course costs Rs 3.10 lakh. The classes will be held for three hours on Saturdays and Sundays or four hour sessions on the weekdays.

The learning module will comprise live online sessions, campus immersion of 30 days (10 days after each trimester).

To be eligible for this programme, candidates should have a valid graduation degree from a four year degree programme, such as BTech, BSc + MSc/Master’s degree in science, BSc + MCA, or in a related field. They should also have a minimum of two years of industry experience.

IIT Jodhpur and Futurense have started the application process, which will follow a rigorous selection process. Candidates will be evaluated based on their academic and work experiences on a first come first serve basis. Clearing the screening test is a prerequisite to getting enrolled in the programme.

After that, enrolled applicants will be given a fully sponsored Futurense Bridge Course covering the foundations of the programme. On successful completion of the diploma programme, the candidates will become an IIT Jodhpur PG Diploma Graduate, obtain an IIT alumni status, and can transfer their credits towards the IIT-J MTech programme without any test or screening.
