TS Intermediate results 2017: The Board of Intermediate Education of Telangana (TS BIE) has announced the results of the first and second year examinations today on April 16, 2017 for both general and vocational courses. The Board had conducted the exam in March 2017. The candidates can download their score card from the official website – results.cgg.gov.in.

Telangana’s deputy chief minister Kadiyam Srihari, who also holds the portfolio of higher education, released the results. As per Hindustan Times, a total of 8,900,87 students appeared for the intermediate exam out of which 4,14,213 aspirants were from the second year. As many as 275,273 students, passed the second-year examination (accounting for 66.45 per cent).

Among the first year students, 4,75,874 have appeared out of which 2,70,738 students passed the exam. The pass percentage stood at 57 per cent.

Also, from 2016 onwards, TSBIE is declaring the results of both first and second year on the same day.

The results of first and second year of Andhra Pradesh are already announced.

Last year, around 9.5 lakh candidates appeared for the examination. The pass percentage was 61.41 per cent with girls outperforming boys. The pass percentage of girls stood at 66.86 per cent while boys registered 55.91 per cent.
