(image source: IIT Delhi)The Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi) has announced the launch of the fourth batch of its certificate programme in Machine Learning and Deep Learning. The six-month certificate programme aims to equip professionals with the necessary skills to meet the growing demand for AI and ML expertise.
This course is curated by IIT Delhi’s faculty. The curriculum covers essential topics including Python programming, data processing, data analysis, neural networks, deep learning architectures, and natural language processing (NLP). Learners will be trained to load and pre-process data using the Pandas library, design and train neural networks with Keras and TensorFlow, and apply machine learning techniques to solve real-world problems.
The programme will be delivered through IIT Delhi’s state-of-the-art Interactive Learning (IL) platform in Direct-to-Device (D2D) mode. It includes 76 hours of online learning, 76 hours of self-paced learning, a three-week capstone project, a masterclass, and an on-campus immersion session to facilitate interaction between faculty and learners.
Dr Manav Bhatnagar, head of Continuing Education Programme (CEP), Brigadier Bhopinder Singh Chair Professor at IIT Delhi, emphasised the importance of the programme in meeting industry demands. “At IIT Delhi, our mission is to provide education that aligns with the evolving needs of the industry. As Machine Learning and Deep Learning continue to revolutionise various sectors, our certificate programme offers rigorous and comprehensive education, combining theoretical foundations with practical expertise. We are committed to empowering individuals to become leaders in the field of Artificial Intelligence.”
