The Department of Management Studies (DMS) at IIT Delhi has introduced a new programme – Executive Master of Business Administration (Executive MBA), designed specifically for working professionals for which applications are open until May 31. To apply, interested candidates can submit an application form on the official website with an online fee payment of Rs. 2,500. The executive MBA is expected to begin in July 2024. The two-year programme allows working professionals to enhance their knowledge, skills, and network while continuing their careers, claimed the press release. Eligibility — Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 60 per cent marks or 6 CGPA — Applicants belonging to SC, ST or PH category must have a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 55 per cent marks or 5.5 CGPA — Applicants must have a minimum of three years of work experience. Admission Process The admission process consists of a written test scheduled for June 9, 2024, followed by a personal interview on June 22. As mentioned on the official website, weightage will be given to your professional background, including work experience and your academic performance in your qualifying degree or diplomas, read a statement from the press release. Scholarship for Executive MBA — Applicants securing first position will be provided a 100 percent tuition fee waiver — Applicants obtaining second position will be provided with 50 per cent of fee waiver — Applicants in third position will be provided a 25 per cent fee waiver. Applicants must note that for first-semester students, the fee waiver will be based on the admission merit list, whereas the second semester onwards, CGPA will be considered for awarding scholarships.
