The Indian Institute of Management Rohtak (IIM Rohtak) is inviting applications for its sixth batch of Executive Post Graduate Diploma in Sports Management (EPGDSM) for the academic year 2023-25. The registration process commenced on April 18 and will conclude on July 18. The programme trains professionals for sports management career options like a sports event manager, sports marketing manager, sports agents, sports talent managers, sports analysis, media and communication manager and many more.
To apply for the two-year EPGDSM, candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline and should have an interest in sports. Prior work experience in the relevant field is an added advantage.
Candidates have to go through a sports assessment aptitude test which will be conducted online and an online personal interview in order to get selected.
The selected candidates will get the opportunity to pursue an MSc in Sports Management for Ulster University, UK on completion of the EPGDSM. All courses except the Sport Consultancy Projects will be considered equivalent to the minimum credit requirement for MSc with Ulster University. Sports Consultancy Project (60 credits) will be covered for a duration of approximately five months.
IIM Rohtak has collaborated with the faculty specialised in sport management from international universities such as San Francisco, Ulster University (UK), Leeds Becket University (UK), Zurich University (Switzerland), University do Porto (Portugal), British Columbia Institute (Canada), University of New Haven (US), and University of Helsinki (Finland).
Stalwarts from the sports industry such as Ayaz Memon, Neeraj Kumar, Jeev Milkha Singh, Rishi Narain, Rana Gurmit Singh Sodhi and many others are academic advisors to the programme.
