IBPS PO Prelims Result 2025: The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS), which conducted the Probationary Officers (PO) 2025 preliminary exams on August 17, 23 and 24, will declare the results this month. When announced, ibps.in website will be hosting the results. Candidates will have to login with their registration number or roll number and password or date of birth to download and access the IBPS PO 2025 prelims results.

Last year, the IBPS PO prelims exam was conducted till October 20 and the result was declared on November 21, a month after the completion of the exam. Going by this trend, candidates can expect the IBPS PO 2025 prelims result by September end.

Shortlisted candidates will become eligible to appear for the IBPS PO 2025 mains exam. The IBPS PO mains exam will be held in October. Candidates scoring the minimum qualifying marks in each test, as well as in the total score, will be considered for shortlisting to the Main Examination. The cut-offs will depend on the number of vacancies available, and the decision of IBPS will be final.

Step 2: Click on the IBPS PO prelims result link on the homepage
Step 3: On the next login page, enter the application number or roll number and date of birth or password
Step 4: Submit and download the IBPS PO prelims result 2025

The IBPS PO online preliminary examination comprised of objective tests carrying a total of 100 marks. It was a one-hour duration exam and the question paper was divided into three sections – English language, quantitative aptitude and reasoning ability.

English language paper had 30 questions for 30 marks in English, quantitative aptitude had 35 questions for 30 marks in English and Hindi and reasoning ability had 35 questions for 40 marks in English and Hindi. Candidates got 20 minutes to complete each section.

All questions were multiple-choice with one correct answer. A penalty of 1/4 of the marks assigned to a question will be deducted for each wrong answer.
