IP University announces ‘weekend-mode’ PG in Mass Communication

To be eligible, applicants are required to hold a bachelor’s degree in any discipline. Admission will be based on 70 per cent weightage to marks obtained in the bachelor’s degree and 30 per cent weightage to the interview performance.

Options for working professionals and diploma holders

As per a statement from the IP University, the weekend mode is designed for working professionals who wish to pursue postgraduate studies while continuing with their employment. In addition, candidates holding a diploma in Mass Communication will be eligible for lateral entry and can complete the programme in one year.

According to the Dean of USMC, Prof Durgesh Tripathi, the programme has been introduced in response to long-standing requests from working journalists who were seeking an opportunity to pursue advanced studies without leaving their professional commitments.
