There are multiple universities including central, state and private in West Bengal that admit candidates to their undergraduate programmes through the Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG). Universities including Visva Bharati uses CUET scores for UG admission.

Visva Bharati

Visva Bharati draws admissions from candidates from across the state and country. The university uses CUET UG scores to admit students to UG courses. Visva Bharati University consists of 8 institutions divided into 40 departments that offer more than 150 UG, PG, PhD, Diploma programs. A total of 18 UG programmes are offered by the university. The university admits students in its UG courses through CUET in subjects including Bengali, English, Hindi, Oriya, philosophy, comparative religion, economics, ancient Indian history, culture and archaeology (A.I.H.C&A.), mathematics, history, geography, physics, chemistry, botany, zoology, statistics and computer science.

There are several universities in West Bengal which do not accept the CUET UG score and conducts their own entrance test for admission in UG courses.
