CSIR UGC NET 2024 December: Registration begins at csirnet.nta.ac.in, exam in Feb

CSIR-UGC NET December 2024 Registration: After the completion of the registration procedure, the candidates will get another chance who have already filled out their application form and wish to make changes in their filled application form. CSIR-UGC NET December 2024 Registration: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has started the registration for the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research-University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (CSIR-UGC NET) 2024. Interested and eligible candidates can visit the official website to register — csirnet.nta.ac.in.

The candidates those who wish to appear for the UGC CSIR-NET exam can submit their application forms through online mode, csirnet.nta.ac.in, nta.ac.in. The last date to submit the application form is December 30.

CSIR UGC NET exam will be held between February 16 and 28. The exam will be held in English and Hindi. The applicants can choose the medium of the paper while applying for the test.

CSIR-UGC NET 2024: How to apply

Step 1- Visit the official website of the exam – csirnet.nta.ac.in 

Step 2- Click on the link available for filling out the application form

Step 3- Click on the ‘New Registration’ button

Step 4- Download the CSIR NET information brochure and read the instructions on the page carefully

Step 5- Click on the checkbox at the bottom of the page and select on the ‘Click Here to Proceed’ button. On clicking the button, the CSIR NET Registration Form will open on the screen

Step 6- Fill in all the given details asked in the registration form

The exam duration is three hours and will include multiple-choice questions. The exam fee must be paid online using debit or credit cards, internet banking, or UPI.

The exam consists of five subjects: Chemical Sciences, Earth Sciences (including Atmospheric, Ocean, and Planetary Sciences), Life Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, and Physical Sciences.

Candidates are advised to submit their application form only once. Under no circumstances will candidates be permitted to fill out more than one application form, as stated in the official notification.
