CLAT Application Form 2026 Link: The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) on August 1, opened the window to register in the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2026. The last date to register for the test is October 31. The official website to register against CLAT 2026 for undergraduate and postgraduate law programmes is consortiumofnlus.ac.in. CLAT 2026 will be held on December 7.
The official notification for CLAT 2026, which includes comprehensive details such as the syllabus, exam pattern, marking scheme, application fee, eligibility criteria, and other key information, is available on the CLAT website.
The online application fee for both UG and PG programmes was Rs 4000 for the general category and Rs 3500 for SCs, STs, PwD and BPL candidates. The application fees is non-refundable and will not be returned in any case. Also, candidates can access the previous year question papers on the payment of Rs 500.
According to the eligibility norms, candidates who have completed Class 12 with a minimum of 45 per cent marks (40 per cent for reserved categories) can apply for the CLAT UG exam. For CLAT PG, applicants must hold an LLB degree with at least 45 per cent marks, while candidates from SC, ST, and PwD categories require a minimum of 40 per cent.
To apply for CLAT 2026, candidates must first register on the official website using their personal mobile number and email ID. An OTP will be sent to the mobile number for verification. Once verified, candidates can log in using the registered mobile number and the password created during registration.
After logging in, applicants will have to carefully fill the CLAT application form, pay the required fee, and submit the form.
It is crucial that the names of the candidate and their parents are entered exactly as they appear on official documents such as certificates, mark sheets, or ID proofs. Any discrepancies may lead to disqualification.
