CHSE Odisha +2 Science Result 2019 LIVE: The Council of Higher Secondary Education, Odisha, had last year announced the result for class 12 Science on May 19. Of the 95,096 students who had written the HSC examination, 73, 211 students (77.98 per cent) passed it. CHSE declared the result for class 12 Arts and Commerce on June 9 last year.
In 2018, the pass percentage for Science stream Plus Two examination was 76.98%. A total of 19,561 students obtained first division, 24,164 students secured second division, and 28,968 students secured third division. The pass percentage for Commerce stream was 74.9% while for Arts stream, it was 68.79%

A total of 35.87 per cent students have secured third division marks. The pass percentage of students who got first division is 29.42 per cent.
A total of 33.81 per cent students have secured second division marks. 29.42 per cent students obtained first division, and 35.87 per cent students secured the third division.
A total of 636 students have got compartmental. A total of 29 colleges have scored a perfect 100 percentile. 60 students have seured above 90 per cent marks.
The pass percentage of students who got first division is 29.42 per cent, the second division is 33.81 per cent and the third division is 35.87 per cent.

Baleshwar has topped among districts with 86.56 per cent. Gajapati has witnessed the lowest pass percentage with 36.20 per cent.
The girls have outperformed boys securing a pass percentage of 75.02 per cent. A total of 70.40 per cent students cleared the examination successfully.
The online window to apply for re-evaluation and re-checking will begin on June 6. The candidates can apply for re-evaluation within 15 days from the beginning of the process

Around 2.84 lakh students have appeared for the Arts, Commerce examination this year. The regular students appeared in the examinations according to the new syllabus prepared in the line of Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). However, the ex-regular students had appeared for the Plus II exam as per their old syllabus.
"The Odisha Board will announce the results of class 12 Arts, Commerce examination on Saturday, June 9, 2018, at 10:30 am in presence of Education Minister Badri Narayan Patra," Pranab Mangaraj, Secretary, CHSE Odisha had earlier said. Last year, CHSE declared the Plus 2 Results for Arts and Commerce stream in just 19 days after the declaration of Science stream result. The overall pass percentage was recorded at 76.98 percent.

This year, the board increased the number of seats from 1,007 to 1,110 for plus two exam centres, due to the increase in the number of students. The result of Class 10 examination was declared on May 7, 2018. Over 76.23 per cent regular students cleared the examination successfully, however, for open school candidates, the pass percentage stood at 41.93. A total of 36 schools have registered zero result.
A total of 289 schools have shown 100 per cent result which means that all students who appeared for the exam from this school have passed.
In Class 10th, the district with the highest pass percentage was Baleswar, which had recorded a pass percentage of 88.25. A total of 1,715 students had scored grade A1, 15,689 had scored A2, 39,252 had scored B1 and B2 had been obtained by a total of 68,009 students.
This year, to prevent incidents of paper leak and rampant cheating, the board had constituted 58 flying squads and 37 central squads for vigilance. Meanwhile, as per reports, the board exam was surrounded with incidents of paper leak this year. Nearly, an hour after the start of the annual High School Certificate (HSC) examination, photos of question paper of MIL subject started circulating on WhatsApp at around Kendrapara district. However, the Board officials dismissed leak reports.

Under the Mukhyamantri Medhabruti Puraskar Yojana, the Odisha governmet will award Rs 5,000 each to the top 100 students. The scholarships will be given to around 40,000 students. The scheme was launched last year for the student of Class 10th. A total of 100 students will be selected by the government from each block and municipal corporation, 50 from each municipality and 20 from each NAC to provide the benefit of CM’s Merit Scholarship.

The pass percentage for the Odisha Board class 10 exam has dropped to 70.78%. Last year the same was recorded at 76.28%. This is a huge drop from last year. This year, many cheating cases were reported, when parents barged inside the exam hall of students.
Addressing media persons, the School and Mass Education department secretary, Pradipta Mohapatra said that the pass percentage could have dipped because of strict security measures that the Board has adopted this year. In a move to prevent cheating, the Odisha board has installed CCTV cameras in schools, following CBSE exam pattern, Odisha board had also put different sets of question papers for matric exam. From last year, it was made mandatory that students will not appear from exam from their native schools and an exam centre will be allotted to them.

No candidate secured A1 grade in BSE Odisha class 10 exam in open school catgeory. A total of 21 students obtained B1 and 297 students got B2 grade in Odisha Board matric exam.

In BSE Odisha class 10 regular mode, 1181 students secured A1 and 9938 students secured A2 grade. A1 grade is given to those who have secured above 90% and A2 given to those who get 80-90% marks.
A total of 2,05,470 girls cleared the exam while 1,91,655 boys pass the exam. Thus, once again the pass percentage is much higher in girls as compared to boys in Odisha 10th result 2019.
Those who have not cleared the exam will be eligible to appear for the supplementary exam. This would give them a second chance to the students, in case the students clear the supplementary exam, they will be considered a pass. The exam will be held in July, 2019.
Despite strict measures to prevent cheating, several cases of cheating and alleged leaks were reported. Those whose exams were cancelled and those who have failed can appear for supplementary exams scheduled to be conducted in June, 2019.
