The exams for both classes will begin on April 26. Students can check the datesheet for board exams on the official CBSE website — cbse.gov.in, cbseresults.nic.in.
The CBSE concluded the CBSE Term 1 Exam 2022 for classes 10 and 12 on December 22, 2021. The board had recently announced that it will conduct the term-2 board examinations for classes 10 and 12 from April 26. The board exams will be held in offline mode at the allotted exam centres, and will be in a descriptive model with long and short-form questions.
Meanwhile, the board is yet to release the result of term-1 class 10, 12 board exams soon. Once released, students will be able to check their scorecards on the official websites of the board — cbse.gov.in and cbseresults.nic.in.

Unlike the usual trends, CBSE this year has released the Class 10 results in offline mode. Therefore, the students will have to visit their respective schools to collect their term-1 marksheets.

Delhi has 2,188 schools affiliated to CBSE. Lakhs of students from these schools, which include government schools in the city, will sit for the second term exams in April.
The National Medical Commission (NMC) has removed the upper age limit for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (Undergraduate) (NEET-UG) for admission to MBBS courses across the country. While the exam dates for term 2 exams have been announced by the CBSE, the students are anxious about the term 1 result updates. The board has not yet notified any result declaration date. However, as per reports the result is expected to be announced this week.
The board has released class 10, 12 sample papers and the marking scheme for term-I examinations 2021-22. Students who are to appear for the examination can check the same on the board’s official website cbseacademic.nic.in.
The CBSE Term-II datesheet for Class 12 has been designed in a way such that students can easily attempt the JEE Main 2022 exams in May 2022. The exam dates do no clash with any JEE exam and suitable gaps have been provided between each exam
This is the first time that CBSE is conducting the board exams in two phases — Term 1 and 2. The board has also increased the number of exam centres from 7,000 to 14,000. As per reports, around 22 lakh candidates are expected to take the OMR-based Term 2 exam for class 10 and nearly 14 lakh have registered for Term-1 of class 12.

In the term-1 results for Class 10 and 12, no student will be placed in the pass, compartment, and essential repeat categories after the first term. However, the final results will be declared after the first and the second-term examinations.

As per CBSE term 2 date sheet press release, the CBSE Class 10 and 12 board exams will be conducted in 26 more countries than India. Therefore, considering the temperature constraints the exams will only be conducted in single shift.
The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is organising a special programme for school children called “YUva VIgyani KAryakram” (YUVIKA) or “Young Scientist Programme” to impart basic knowledge on space technology, space science and space applications to young students, especially for those from rural areas.

Unlike the Term I board exams which were conducted in MCQ format on an OMR sheet, the term II exams will have short and long answer-type questions and will be conducted for the duration of two hours, depending on the Covid-19 situation. These exams will be two-hour-long papers with questions in different formats, but “in case the situation is not conducive for normal descriptive examinations,” Term II exams too will be in the form of a 90-minute MCQ paper, the board had earlier notified.
The Central Board of Secondary Education this year has introduced two terminal exams for both classes 10 and 12. The academic year has been split into two terms with separate exams at the end of each term. The first term was held in November -December 2021 and included objective-type questions. The second term is expected to be conducted in March 2022 and the final schedule is yet to be announced. It will have subjective-type long and short questions.
