CBSE board exams 2024: CBSE clarified that no such decision has been taken by the Board. (Representative image. File)The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on February 16 issued a clarification against the fake circular circulating on social media about postponement of board exams 2024.
The fake circular stated that the CBSE board exams 2024 have been postponed due to the ongoing farmers’ protest. However, the CBSE clarified that no such decision has been taken by the Board. “Beware! The following letter under circulation is FAKE and misleading. The board has not taken any such decision,” the Board said in an official post on X.

“It has come to notice of the board that because of Farmer’s Protest, there are problem faced out by the board, they are unable to appear in the schools so as per the Government guidelines Board Exams of class XII has been postponed, as soon as you will be informed with new dates. Looking into the problem, CBSE has decided to postpone the dates of examination centre,” the fake notice had stated.
Meanwhile, keeping in mind the ongoing farmers’ protest in the country, CBSE has advised students in Delhi to set out on time, use Metro services and arrive at the exam centre by 10 am, considering possible transport-related difficulties.
CBSE started conducting board exams for Classes 10 and 12 from February 15 onwards.
