CBSE Board Class 10th, 12th Result 2025: The CBSE Board result of Class 10 and Class 12 exams under the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to be declared this week. The CBSE 2025 result, when declared, can be checked at cbseresults.nic.in, cbse.gov.in, results.cbse.nic.in, results.digilocker.gov.in, and the UMANG app. This year, more than 42 lakh students took the CBSE Class 10 and 12 exams between February 15 and April 4.

In 2024, the pass rate stood at 93.60% for Class 10 and 87.98% for Class 12. In 2023, the pass percentages were slightly lower at 93.12% and 87.33%, respectively. The 2022 results were higher, with 94.40% for Class 10 and 92.71% for Class 12.
Notably, in 2021, the pass percentages hit record highs — 99.04% for Class 10 and 99.37% for Class 12 — largely due to the pandemic-related evaluation methods. In 2020, the pass percentages were 91.46% for Class 10 and 88.78% for Class 12.

In CBSE examinations, the pass criteria is different for Class 10 and Class 12. Class 10 candidates are required to secure 33 per cent marks to pass by combining marks of both theory and internal assessment. On the other hand, Class 12 students are required to secure 33 per cent marks separately in theory and practical papers.
In the previous academic year, CBSE had declared the Class 10 and 12 results on May 13. In 2023, the board declared the result on May 12. In 2022 and 2021, the CBSE Class 10 and 12 result dates were July 22 and August 3.
