CAT 2024: Here is what you need to know about registration date

CAT is held for admission to postgraduate management programmes and fellow or doctorate programmes of the Indian Instititues of Management (IIMs). CAT 2024 scores are also allowed to be used by listed non-IIM member institutions.

In 2023, the registration for CAT opened on August 2 and continued till September 20. The CAT admit card was released on November 7 and the IIM admission test was conducted on November 26.

Last year, candidates holding a bachelor’s degree with at least 50 per cent marks or equivalent CGPA and 45 per cent in case of candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Persons with Disability (PwD) categories were eligible to register for CAT.

Candidates appearing for the final year of bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed degree requirements and are awaiting results can also apply.
