BSEB Bihar Board Class 10th Scholarship: The Bihar Education Department has extended a deadline for eligible Class 10 students of the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) to register for various scholarship and incentive schemes. Students who secured first division in the 2022, 2023, or 2024 board exams, along with SC/ST students who passed in second division, are eligible to apply.

The Bihar Education Department has extended the registration deadline for scholarship and incentive schemes to September 15, 2025, offering eligible students additional time to apply. Those who have not yet registered can do so by visiting the official website at medhasoft.bihar.gov.in. Once the verification process is complete, applicants will receive a User ID and password on their registered mobile number and email, allowing them to access and complete the application form.

The schemes include the Chief Minister Girl Child Incentive Scheme, Chief Minister Student Incentive Scheme, Chief Minister Backward Class/Extremely Backward Class Merit Scholarship, and Chief Minister Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe Merit Scholarship. Previously, lists of eligible candidates were uploaded on the MedhaSoft portal developed by NIC. However, a recent review revealed that many students had yet to complete their registration on the eKalyan portal.

To be eligible for the scholarship and incentive schemes, students must have a bank account in their own name, held at a nationalised bank, a recognised private bank, or an India Post Payment Bank branch within Bihar. According to the official notice, those who fail to complete their registration by the extended deadline of September 15, 2025, will be considered uninterested in participating, and no further chances will be given.

Meanwhile, BSEB on August 28 has extended the deadline to register for the Class 12 2026 intermediate exams. Students yet to apply and fill the online inter registration and wish to appear in the 2026 board exam can do so by September 3, 2025.

Schools have been directed to complete the process on behalf of students through the official website – seniorsecondary.biharboardonline.com. The registration must be completed along with the prescribed fee. While the last date to register for BSEB Class 12 board 2026 exam is Sepetember 3, the last date for submission of the signed and stamped hard copy of the registered students’ list to the BSEB office has been fixed as September 1, 2025.
