BSE Odisha 10th Result 2024 Updates: Matric results at bseodisha.ac.in, apply for rechecking from May 29

The BSE also declared the results of the State Open School Certificate (SOSC) examination and the Madhyama exam. About 59.88 per cent students have cleared the SOSC while 98.12 per cent cleared the Madhyama examination

The unsuccessful matric students can apply for rechecking from May 29 to June 12. The registration for the supplementary examination will start from June 10 and the students have to apply online.

The Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha on Sunday declared the Class 10 (matriculation) examination results with 96.07 per cent of the students clearing the test. According to a press note issued by the BSE, this year, girls have outshined boys in the examination. The pass percentage of girl students stood at 96.73 per cent while that of boys was 95.39 per cent.
As many as 2,644 schools have recorded 100 per cent results, it said.

While Khurda district registered the highest pass percentage of 97.98 in the state, Nuapada district reported the lowest pass percentage of 93.91 per cent.

The BSE Odisha 2024 Class 10 matric result can be accessed through the SMS by sending an SMS to 5676750. Students who appeared for the BSE Odisha Class 10 exams will have to type OR10 < Roll No > and send the message to 5676750.

The BSE Odisha Class 10 pass percentage this year is 96.07 per cent. Last year, it was 96.04 per cent.

Although the certificate in online mode can be downloaded from 4:30 pm today, the hard copies of the certificates will be issued to the students by the school, on a single day throughout the state. The date on which the BSE Class 10 HSC result certificates will be released will be notified by the Board.

To check and download the BSE Odisha HS result, students will have to use their roll number or names. The BSE Class 10 result link is active at bseodisha.ac.in.

Last year, the pass percentage in BSE Odisha 10th result was 96.40 per cent. Gender-wise, the pass percentage among the girls was 97.05 per cent and among the boys, it was 95.75 per cent.

The BSE Odisha board exam for Class 10 was held in 2,991 examination centers in the state and more than 5.5 lakh students appeared in the Class 10 examinations. This year, the board conducted the class 10 exam between February 20 and March 4.

In 2023, a total number of 2,53,633 male students and 2,58,827 female students passed the Odisha Board exams, the HSC students recorded an overall pass percentage of 96.04 per cent. In 2022, the overall pass percentage was 97.89 per cent which was nearly 20 per cent higher than 2021’s 78.76 per cent.

Heads of the secondary schools will be able to access and download the tabulation register (TR) of their schools from 12:30 pm onwards on entering their user ID and password. The BSE Odisha result will be declared at 10:30 am today.

As per the board, the Class 10 BSE Odisha result will first be announced in a press conference at 10:30 am. The link to check the BSE Class 10 result at the board website will be made live at 11:30 am. Heads of schools will be able to download and check the Class 10 result from their school user ID and password from 12:30 pm.

A total of 11,302 students were absent from the exam in 2023 out of which 10,939 students were regular students, 295 were ex-regular 56 were CC regular and 12 were CC ex-regular students.

The overall pass percentage was recorded at 96.19 per cent last year. 

Among districts, the lowest 92.63 pass percentage was recorded at Malkangiri while the highest 97.99% pass percentage had been achieved by Cuttack and Jagatsinghpur.

Candidates need to secure at least 33 per cent marks in every subject and a minimum of 20 per cent as aggregate to clear the odisha board exams. In order to secure first division grade, he/she need to score beyond 60 per cent marks overall.

In the class 10 results, those who do not clear the exam will be eligible to appear for the supplementary exam. This would give them a second chance to the students, in case the students clear the supplementary exam, they will be considered a pass
