BPSC TRE 3.0 dates revised; exam from July 19 to 22

BPSC TRE 3.0: The new exam dates will be announced through an official notice at the BPSC website — bpsc.bih.nic.in.

The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has rescheduled the Teacher Recruitment Examination (TRE 3.0) 2024 exam dates for the posts of Head Teacher, Head Master and and School Teacher Competitive re-examination.

As per the latest notice, the BPSC TRE 3.0 will now be conducted from July 19 to July 22, 2024.

“Guest Teachers (Guest Teacher) in the light of the judgment passed by the Honorable High Court, Patna in CWJC No.-2270/2024 dated 29.05.2024 in relation to Advertisement No. 22/2024, Teacher Appointment Competition Re Examination (TRE-3.0) Due to the date fixed by the Commission for online application from 04.06.2024 to 10.06.2024, the previously scheduled examination date has been amended,” the official notice stated.

Earlier, in March 2024, BPSC had cancelled the teacher recruitment exam (TRE 3.0) exam due to alleged paper leak. BPSC TRE 3.0 was conducted on March 15 in two shifts. Originally, the exam was scheduled to be on two days — March 15 and 16. March 15 exam was to be conducted in two shifts – first shift from 9:30 am to 12 noon and the second shift between 2:30 pm and 5 pm. On March 16, the exam was to be held in a single shift – from 12 to 2:30 pm. However, the March 16 exam was cancelled due to “unavoidable” circumstances.

The teacher recruitment drive was being conducted to fill up around 87,709 vacancies. As many as 5,81,305 candidates had applied for the recruitment exam.
